The story behind it

When you think of a green shake, tasty isn’t something that comes to mind. They’re often too runny, and more of a trial to finish than a pleasure.

Today I declare that this changes! This high energy smoothie is here to challenge the status quo with both flavor and health benefits!

Ingredients

50g Pistachios
1 small avocado, stoned and peeled
1 tsp hemp seed oil
2 tsp linseed oil
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Fresh ground black pepper to taste
Pinch of salt
3-4 fresh basil leaves

Why is it so good for you

In our lineup we have the two stars, Pistachio and Avocado, both high sources of protein. Protein that you need to build up those muscles!
Then we have an ensemble that includes the often hard to incorporate lemon juice. Lemon is awesome for your blood pressure, kidneys, bowels and liver! As well as numerous oils, and basil which lower stress and improve heart health!

Preparation

Place everything in the blender, blend till smooth. Garnish with sprinkle of finely chopped pistachios.
