The story behind it

When it comes to working out I usually do so after work in the evening. I’m often hungry after my workout, but wary about what I put in my body to make sure that my exercise wasn’t in vain.

But then I started experimenting with smoothies as a post workout meal. After numerous recipes trying to get the right blend of nutrients and taste, I found the one!

This amazing smoothie promotes muscle growth, while healthy & tasty should be one of the modern marvels of the world.

Ingredients

½ c plain yogurt
½ c milk
1 banana
1 Tbsp peanut butter
1 lg handful spinach
½ tsp vanilla

Why is it so good for you

All of the ingredients have protein, but they’re also high in potassium.

The potassium you lost when sweating is gained back, and the other ingredients work together to promote gut health. The protein inside supercharges your metabolism to help muscles grow as they heal overnight.

Preparation

Place all ingredients in blender, and blend for 40-50 seconds.
