The story behind it

You wake up in the middle of the night, its 3 AM and you have a sudden craving. Its Chunky Monkey, you’re craving that nutty goodness that only ice cream can satisfy. But you say no! Its 3AM and I work out. I will not break.

Now is the time to rejoice! Chunky Monkey doesn’t have to make you chunky any longer! This wonderful smoothie has all the devious goodness of the classic flavor, without any of the guilt.
Heck it’s packed with protein which makes it great for exercise! Bet you didn’t see that coming… Unless you read the title.

Ingredients

1-2 cups ice
1 banana sliced and frozen
1 cup Silk Unsweetened Vanilla Cashew Milk
1 scoop about ¼ cup plant-based chocolate protein powder
1-2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1-2 tablespoons peanut butter
Pinch of salt
Optional Garnish: dairy-free chocolate chips

Why is it so good for you

Now there’s quite a few ingredients, buts it’s actually quite simple and most of the calories come from the peanut butter. Which is a healthy fat.

It’s also a great source of protein, along with the banana and cocoa which will boost your mood, making you wide awake and ready to take on the world!
