Kiwis and Blueberries, they go so well together! Yet so rarely are they paired together, and that’s a shame!

Kiwis have a airy syrupy flavor, and blueberries have a tart bittersweet taste. Pair them together and you get what amounts to ambrosia! Nectar of the gods; for good reason too.

This mix includes a few other flavors that result in a smooth flavor that changes as you drink it.

What’s more, this is a great pre-workout smoothie to boost your energy! It’ll get you excited for exercising, whether it’s at the gym or outdoors!

Ingredients

1/2 cup blueberries, fresh or frozen
1 kiwi, peeled
2 large mint leaves, or 2 tsp dried mint
1 tbsp lime juice
1/4 cup black beans (or any color beans), cooked, fresh or frozen (optional)
1/4 tsp vanilla powder or extract (optional, skip this if you are using vanilla protein powder)
1 serving vanilla protein powder (optional)
1/4 cup water
4 to 5 ice cubes
